Somehow, I end up with a lot weird stress. Nikaido wants to make Etsuko the deputy editor of the digital publication. She is also dating non-fiction writer Orihara Yukito Suda Masaki and living life to the fullest. Kaizuka has been tasked with being the editor in chief of a commemorative book for the 50th anniversary of the founding of their company and is busy. Hence Etsuko reckoning her man is flirting with the younger curvier woman, Yukito thinking Tachibana harbors something more than admiration for him, or Nikaido-san believing she was stuck in an unhappy marriage. Etsuko is still as loud and dramatic as ever, though fortunately not as annoying as before.
While they are there, she thinks of a new feature. But then i saw that it is subbed and well, this could be a reason to watch more of Suda Masaki, so why not?. And as shown time and time again in this drama, facts-confirming trip can refresh the mind, give inspiration, deepen bond, change perspective, and provide a life-changing experience. Morio Toyoko Honda Tsubasa warns her not to go against Nikaido but Etsuko ignores her advice and points out the inconsistencies in a special feature article on an excursion to Okutama to Nikaido. In the middle of this, Nikaido announces that Lassy will cease print publication and become completely digital. One day, a new chief editor Nikaido Rin Kimura Yoshino comes to Lassy.
She has gone from one publishing company to another and turned around many magazines. Would love to be notified of future posts? Ugh, i hate this kind of boss the most — imperious, closed to feedback, and all about take-it-or-leave-it. Etsuko protests but this falls on deaf ears. However, Nikaido asserts that a fashion magazine does not need strict proofreading. The department head Takehara Sho-on and the other members warmly welcome her. But worry not, their parts are cleverly woven into the narrative.
Meanwhile, Yukito is introduced by Kaizuka Hachiro Aoki Munetaka to a new editor Tachibana Karen Sano Hinako. A very stressed Etsuko visits the proofreading department after a long absence. Hiccup also occurs in her love life. The next major one is Etsuko eventual transfer to Lassy department. Karen is a big fan of Yukito and wait on him hand and foot.
Although to be fair, it really is a light peck. The two of them quickly become close and Etsuko is deeply concerned. That said, i still encounter the same flaws i spotted in the original. Faced with crisis in her work and romance, what will Etsuko do? Because everything will make sense in the end. She gives the staff of the editorial department notice that the contracts of veterans who have been involved from the time of the inaugural issue, will be terminated. She is told to go with her on a business trip to Milan. It takes only nine months for the proofreader girl to return to the small screen with a special episode.
Her idea is adopted by Nikaido who begins to have expectations of her. The sight that will certainly call for a misunderstanding. However, Etsuko opposes the discontinuation of the magazine and is told by Nikaido that she is fired. It may be plain and tedious but she makes the most of it, gets to learn a lot from it, and eventually turns the underrated job into an emotionally rewarding one. .
